Terms and conditions

1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

   These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the use by users ("User" or "Users") of Starlight Casino Point Edward's facilities, services, and information provided online or in-person.

2. DEFINITIONS

   For purposes of these Terms, the following definitions apply:

   • "OLG" means Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation;
   • "AGCO" means Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario;
   • "Gateway Casinos & Entertainment Limited" means the parent company operating Starlight Casino Point Edward; and

3. ELIGIBILITY TO USE FACILITIES AND SERVICES

   Users must be at least 19 years of age to use the facilities and services provided by the Casino.

4. RESPONSIBLE GAMBLING PRACTICES

   The Casino promotes responsible gaming practices, including self-exclusion programs, time-out mechanisms, and access to support resources such as provincial helplines and counseling organizations.

5. CONDUCT ON CAMPUS

   Users are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that is respectful of other Users and staff members.

   • The use or possession of intoxicating beverages by minors or those who have been excluded from the premises is strictly prohibited;
   • Smoking, vaping, and e-cigarettes are not permitted within the Casino;

6. PERSONAL PROPERTY AND LIABILITY

   The User shall be responsible for their personal property at all times while on Campus.

   • The Casino assumes no liability for loss of or damage to Users' personal property;
   • In the event of an emergency, the Casino may take actions deemed necessary to ensure the safety and well-being of its staff and patrons;

7. GAMING EQUIPMENT AND RESULTS

   Gaming equipment used at the Casino is approved by OLG.

   • The outcome of games played on such equipment shall be determined solely by chance;
   • Results are final and non-appealable.

8. TECHNICAL SUPPORT AND INFORMATION AVAILABILITY

   The Casino provides access to technical support via phone, email, or in-person assistance during operating hours.

   • The primary language used for customer service is English;

9. SECURITY AND FAIR PLAY PROTOCOLS

   The Casino ensures the security and fairness of its gaming operations through various measures, including:

   • Compliance with OLG's regulatory requirements;
   • Use of Random Number Generators (RNGs) approved by AGCO; and
   • Regular testing and certification of slot machines.

10. ONLINE PRESENCE AND RESPONSIBILITY

    The Casino does not offer remote real-money online gambling or a dedicated mobile gaming app.

    • The use of the Casino's website is intended solely for informational purposes and access to its services in-person;

11. TERMINATION OF ACCESS

    In accordance with Ontario regulations, the User may be restricted from accessing the premises if they are:

    • Under 19 years old;
    • Excluded under a self-exclusion program; or
    • Otherwise barred due to regulatory or security reasons.

12. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

    These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ontario, Canada.

    • Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through arbitration conducted according to OLG's procedures;

13. AMENDMENTS TO TERMS AND CONDITIONS

    The Casino reserves the right to modify or update its policies at any time without prior notice.

14. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

    These Terms constitute the entire agreement between Users and the Casino regarding access to, use of, and services provided by Starlight Casino Point Edward.

15. BINDING EFFECT

    By using the facilities and services of the Casino, users acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
